A regular source from the Seychelles’ capital Victoria has confirmed that ‘The World’, a unique cruiseliner, will be on port call from 26th to 28th of February inclusive.

After initially docking at port Victoria on the main island of Mahe will the cruiseship then visit the islands of La Digue and Praslin, before ‘setting sail’ again.

The ship, which was built 13 years ago, comprises only 165 ‘Residences’ which are all owned by individuals or companies. Ground handling will be provided throughout the visit by 70 South, one of the Seychelles’ leading DMC’s.

The Seychelles has been at the forefront for cruise companies to return to this part of the Indian Ocean and sail the waters from the South African ports of Durban or Port Elizabeth to the Vanilla Islands like Reunion, Madagascar, Mauritius, Mayotte, the Comoros and of course the Seychelles, with port calls on the African mainland in between.
