TANZANIA PUBLISHES BOOK TO SUPPORT DOMESTIC TOURISM (budget gorilla tours)

Tanzania has worked with more than 40 companies to publish a 204 page new edition guide in French. The book has been published because President Jakaya Kikwete said the country has to be marketed internationally in a number of international languages like French and Japanese.

The new edition guide book titled Karibu-Tanzania will provide practical and interesting information about Tanzania to French speaking visitors to help their smooth and pleasing stay. This will guide the visitors on their first days and the book has been signed by Swiss Ambassador Olivier Chave, Belgian Ambassador, Paul Jansen, French Ambassador Marcel Escure and the Canadian High Commissioner Robert ORR.

The book has the historical point of view of Tanzania as a cradle of mankind to the political situation. The visitor is informed about security, Kiswahili language, hotels, accommodations, restaurants, recreation sites in Dar es Salaam, Dodoma and Arusha towns.5,000 copies of the new book will be distributed by the people that have signed in it.
