Following the law suit issued against Uganda’s Tycoon Sudhir Ruparelia by Bank of Uganda, Speke Resort Munyonyo Hotel along it’s beach is still safe.
Two weeks back the Bank of Uganda claimed Shs400 billion from Mr Sudhir Ruparelia.
Prof Ephraim Kamuntu the Minister of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities has warned people spreading allegations that the hotel is up for sell by government to stop, adding that the public should separate Crane Bank from the hospitality facility.
This statement is a move to protect the Hospitality sector which is part of Uganda’s Tourism Industry.
“We are not selling it. No we can’t because this hotel is for tourism purposes and nobody will sell it,” said Prof Kamuntu on Thursday as reported by allafrica dot com website , on 21st. July.2017.
Sudhir Ruparelia is the proprietor of Munyonyo Speke Resort Beach and Common Wealth Hotel Munyonyo.
