FORT LAUDERDALE, FL and JOHANNESBURG, South Africa – South African Airways (SAA), Africa’s most awarded airline, and South Africa-based event specialist On Show Solutions, have introduced a new marketing platform for North American travel suppliers that represent tourism destinations, convention & visitors bureaus, hotels & resorts, cruise lines and sightseeing attractions in the U.S. & Canada to target tour operators and travel agents in South Africa. In March 2015, the North America Showcase will travel to key cities in South Africa to meet with travel specialists selling North America as a business and leisure destination.

South Africa is the economic powerhouse of Africa with Johannesburg as the gateway for the continent. The North America Showcase is designed for travel companies that are already receiving South African business to boost their business network. For companies looking for new markets, the North America Showcase will facilitate introductions with the right contacts to develop business potential.

Buyer selections and invitations will be a multi-pronged approach to ensure participants meet with the caliber of travel agents and tour operators that are suited to the North American market. On Show Solutions has managed trade roadshows in South Africa for the past seven years having built up a substantial following. They have also partnered with the primary tour operators who sell North America to the South African travel trade namely Thompsons Holidays, Travel Vision and Holiday Tours who will invite their extensive client databases.

The participation package includes speaker presentation sessions, exhibitor table and branding at all four trade events, and maximum networking time. Group coordination will be arranged as well as pre and post show tours if required.
