Alaska Airlines started daily nonstop service between Seattle and Albuquerque, the multi-cultural metropolis of the Southwest.
“Albuquerque’s rich history and year-round sunshine provide endless adventure for leisure and business travelers alike,” said Joe Sprague, senior vice president of communications and external relations for Alaska Airlines. “This new route further builds on the strength of our Seattle hub from where we serve three times more cities than any other carrier.”
“Having a customer satisfaction leader in the industry like Alaska Airlines serve our city is a tremendous win for the Duke City,” said Albuquerque Mayor Richard J. Berry. “This new service also opens Alaska Airlines’ vast network of destinations to travelers from the Sunport and enables their customers to experience the true charm and hospitality of New Mexico.”
Since June, Alaska Airlines has launched five new cities from its Seattle hub. With the new flights, Alaska will offer 268 peak-day departures nonstop to 79 destinations from Seattle.
