A Russian stewardess was injured when she fell out of a plane and onto the tarmac at Dubai International Airport on Monday after a catering truck crashed into the aircraft.
The Urals Airlines plane, preparing to depart to the Russian city of Perm, was damaged in the incident, and a reserve aircraft was sent to take the passengers to their destination, the airline said.
According to a spokesperson for the Emirates Flight Catering company, the flight attendant had to be taken to a hospital for medical treatment.
“The incident is being investigated by the authorities, and we cannot comment on it at present,” the spokesperson told RIA Novosti.
Urals Airlines said in statement Monday that the stewardess was in stable condition and would continue to undergo medical treatment in Dubai until full recovery.
