FREE TRANSPORT FOR MUKONO, KAYUNGA AND JINJA DISTRICTS


The Communications manager of Uganda Roads Authority, Dan Alinange said the
Tourists and Travelers from Mukono, Kayunga and Jinja will travel to Kampala using Nabuganyi –Mbulamuti ferry for free. This ferry will start work by December 2009.

Alinange in His speech said that the ferry has the capacity to carry about 10 vehicles and about 70 people and will work daily because it has to work as a bridge.

He added that this ferry which is powered by diesel has been assembled in Uganda by the company called Mabey and Johnson limited.
