The Bermondsey Square Hotel is located in London and the ever-evolving Bermondsey district with its thriving restaurant, bar and club scene, art galleries, design studios, and boutique shops.
The hotel website says: A short distance from the City, the Design Museum, Borough Market, The Shard, Tate Modern and Tower Bridge, our highly individual hotel is ideally located for easy access to some of London’s finest sights whilst staying in an engaging neighbourhood.
This 80-room boutique hotel is designed to meet the needs of discerning guests, from business travelers to party people, foodies and fashionistas, to those simply looking to relax and enjoy the local attractions whilst staying in the comfort of stylish Bermondsey accommodation.
The party people however have to do without alcohol, and the food menu recently changed to be compliant with Islamic Sharia law. All of this may not be a bad move. At least the owner should be commended to forego the income opportunity the sale of alcohol has.
The new rule also published on the hotel website goes on saying ” We no longer sell alcoholic beverages at GB Grill & Bar – Please take a look at our comprehensive selection of soft drinks!
