From Kampala, you will head to kibale forest to trek chimpanzees, baboons and monkeys
Day 1 Kampala-Kibale
Morning after breakfast, you will b picked by our tour guide and head for Kibale Forest National Park, approximately 4 hours drive via Mityana –mubende road. Have lunch in fort portal town, drive by Nyakasura to see the amazing mabere ga nyinamwiru then proceed to Kibale Forest which is a large protected block of rainforest, and hosts 13 species of primates the highest number in Africa such as Chimpanzees, Grey Cheeked Mangabey, Bush babies, galagos Red Tailed monkey and Red Colobus. Relax in the evening have dinner and over night at Dali Lodge or Primate Lodge (High end/luxurious accommodation) Mantana Tented Camp Hotel (Medium class accommodation) Chimpanzee Guest House or Rwenzori View Guest House (Low budget/basic accommodation) a stunning location overlooking a variety of Crater Lakes and, Evening cultural visit around the craters is a nice place to visit.
Day 2 Kibale / Queen Elizabeth Park
Early morning trek for chimpanzees. Kibale is the best reserve in Africa to view chimps, a thick jungle with a towering canopy. In the afternoon, drive south wards into Queen Elizabeth National Park, sightseeing and game viewing enroot. Dinner and overnight at Mweya safari Lodge / Jacana Lodge perched right on the edge of the escarpment overlooking the Uganda great Lakes and Maramagambo forest respectively. (High and luxurious accommodation) or Mweya Hostel (Low budget/basic accommodation).
Day 3 Queen Elizabeth Park
Morning after breakfast, have a dawn game drive in Uganda’s best park, where all the big game can be seen in abundance. Famous for elephant and kobs especially at the laking ground, expect to see some rare animals like giant forest hog. There are 638 recorded bird species in the park! After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel which connects Lake Edward and George, for large numbers of buffalos and bird species along the channel and hippos breeding with in the channel. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Lodge/Jacana Lodge/Mweya Hostel/kingfisher lodge.
Day 4 Queen-Mburo
Have an early morning breakfast and drive through what is probably East Africa’s most beautiful scenery, the savanna grassland which reaches the Kyambura Gorge. A visit to the bat Cave close to Maramagambo forest is a must! The afternoon lunch is spent at lake view hotel Mbarara. Then proceed to L. Mburo Park early enough for an evening nature walk. Dinner and over night at Mihingo Lodge (High and luxurious accommodation), or Mantana Tented Camp (Medium class accommodation) or at the Rwonyo Rest Camp Bandas (Low budget/basic accommodation).
DAY 5 Mburo park
After breakfast make an early morning game drive in the park which is an extension of the Tanzanian Plains with big herds of Zebra, Impala, Eland , Warthogs ,buffalo and other savannah species. For birders, this is one of the best place to find African Fin foot, Papyrus, Bush Shrike, etc. Dinner and over night at Mihingo Lodge / Mantana Tented Camp / Rwonyo Rest Camp.

DAY 6 return to Kampala
After breakfast at l.mburo dinning shelter, group goes to the lake for launch cruise to enjoy the fresh air from the lake while viewing hippos, fish landing sites and carry out lake side tracking.
Then group drives back to mbarara highway via sanga gate, lunch at masaka arriving Kampala late evening.
